The leaves changing colors and the chill in the air can only mean one thing, O.C.toberfest is back in Ocean City, Maryland! Book your stay at the Grand Hotel & Spa in Ocean City and join in on the fun and excitement of Halloween at the beach!
Kicking off O.C.toberfest is the Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade! This parade will begin at 1 pm on October 19 and start on the boardwalk near North Division Street. Dress your furry friend up in their best Halloween costumes and let them walk the boardwalk runway, or relax while you watch the show and cheer on your favorites! During the parade, there will be lots of prizes and fun surprises and participation is FREE! The Worcester Humane Society will be onsite accepting donations of pet supplies or monetary donations during the event, plus there might even be a few furry friends with them up for adoption!
Stand by after the Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade is over and watch the Drive and Disguise Parade! Starting at 26th Street and Baltimore Ave. at 3 pm, this parade features cars decorated for Halloween cruising the boards towards the Inlet! Participating cars will end their drive at North Division Street, where Trunk or Treating will begin around approximately 3:30 pm! Prizes will be awarded by the Town of Ocean City for the most unique entries!
The fun will continue with the Great Pumpkin Race held on October 26 at North Division St. and the Boardwalk! Registration will begin at noon, and the race starts at 1 pm. Build your own pumpkin race car to compete in the side-by-side downhill race! Prizes are awarded in each division, and for creativity.
Don’t forget the O.C.toberfest Beach Maze is on October 19-20 and 26-27! Located at North Division Street and the Boardwalk, the Beach Maze is FREE and open to children of all ages to navigate the maze with scary fun surprises meeting you at every twist and turn! Hours are 10 am – 5 pm on Saturdays and 10 am – 3 pm on Sundays!
