Things to Do in Ocean City this March

5k Race in Ocean City, MD
Visit the Ocean City Boardwalk on March 14th for the Annual Boardwalk 5k. This 5-kilometer (3.17 miles) race will start at 9 am on 4th Street, directly behind Shenanigans Irish Pub. Run south towards the Inlet, around the Pier, and then under the Boardwalk Tram station. The course then turns back around onto the Boardwalk and heads past the Shenanigans Pub starting area. Run up to 16th Street, and turn back around towards the starting line to finish on 4th Street.
Participation in the St. Patrick’s Day race has a $30 race fee, this includes;
- Race fee to participate
- St. Patrick’s Day runner-style t-shirt
- Race finishers ribbon
- Post-race ceremony
Runners 21 and older can also redeem a free Guinness at Shenanigan’s Irish Pub with post-race music and refreshments.
Ocean City Golf
Ready to play some golf? Ocean City is a golf-mecca with 17 championship golf courses around the area. Visit Eagle’s Landing Golf Course in Ocean City for their annual St. Patrick’s Day Scramble. The Scramble begins at 9:30 am on March 14th, at Eagle’s Landing. Teams will play 6-holes from Gold, White, and Blue Tees. During the game, 30% of your team’s average handicap will be used, and your team will be able to choose the holes that they want to play from. Lunch will be served following the Scramble, with a menu that features multiple traditional Irish-American favorites.
