Otherwise known as the Ocean City Coastguard Museum, The Ocean City Life-Saving Musum is located right on Ocean City, Marylands famous Boardwalk beside the inlet! The Museum takes a look into Coastguard history in the area and marine life, and lalso tells fascinating stories about the history of Ocean City, Maryland, and some of the characters who have helped shape the town throughout the years! The Museums mission is to inspire and support the natural and cultural history of Ocean City, as well as to educate and help preserve the coastal areas of the present.

When staying at an OCMD hotel, there are plenty of ways to get around town and see all of the attractions that the area has to offer. Make use of the bus which travels up and down Coastal Highway, or the tram which follows the length of the boardwalk. The tram is an attraction in itself, as it runs from the Inlet to the North Booth on 27th Street. The tram will stop at almost any location along its route to let passengers off and is well worth the experience!
