Watching the Sunset

Is there anything more romantic than watching the sun set over the glistening waters of the ocean?  There are a number of waterfront bars which make the ideal place to sit and relax, enjoying a drink as you watch the sun go down or alternatively you could bring a picnic and set up on the beach, making sure to bring extra blankets for once the sun has finally gone down.  Even just taking a stroll along the golden, sandy shores as you watch the sun set can be a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Beach Fireworks

If you are booked into one of the Ocean City boardwalk hotels between July and September then you must make sure that you head down to the beach at N.Division Street and enjoy the fireworks display.  These displays take place every Monday and Tuesday at 10.30pm from 10 July to 4 September and as well as the fireworks themselves you will also be treated to a musical presentation.

Exploring the Boardwalk

You might have spent some time wandering up and down the Boardwalk during the day, appreciating the eclectic and diverse range of shops which are located here but at night the Boardwalk becomes even more of an exciting place to be with bars, live music venues and plenty of opportunity to kick back and watch the world go by.  There are also plenty of restaurants located on the Boardwalk which would make excellent options for somewhere to go for a late night bite to eat.

Visit the Casino

There are a number of casinos within easy reach of Ocean City which would make an enjoyable diversion for an evening; Ocean Downs is probably the closest and best known and it features live racing, slow machines and a restaurant as well as a program of special events.

Live Music

Fagers Island is one of the most popular live music venues and features live music bands all year round.  They also host regular Deck Parties and special events so if you want somewhere with a vibrant atmosphere where you can dance the night away and listen to music by some of the best local bands, then Fagers Island is a good option.  Another popular choice in the area is Seacrets; a Caribbean themed venue with live music, great food and a real party atmosphere all day long.
