Enjoy OCtoberfest in Ocean City, MD

Have you booked your haunting Halloween vacation yet? If not, now’s the time because it’s officially Octoberfest in our favorite resort town, OCMD! In Ocean City, we have plenty of spooktacular ways to celebrate one of our favorite holidays, so book your beach getaway today to get in on all of the monster-iffic fun that Octoberfest has to offer!

Octoberfest Activities in OCMD

  1. Beach Fireworks

Kick-start the 9th Annual OCtoberfest on October 23rd at 7 pm with socially distanced Beach Fireworks! Watch from the Boardwalk near North Division St., and get a good nights rest knowing that there’s plenty of hallo-fun yet to be had during the weekend family festivities.

 

  1. Halloween Beach Maze

Witches and pirates and goblins, oh my! Bring your family to find your way through the biggest Halloween Beach Maze yet on October 24th and 25th at North Division St. Each family will be admitted one at a time to allow for proper social distancing, and masks will be required as you find your way through the spooky maze.

 

  1. Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade

Dogs, cats, lizards, and more are all welcome for the Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade, hosted by the Worcester County Humane Society! Dress up your pet to strut their stuff down the boards on October 24th at 1 pm, or sit back and enjoy the show. The Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade is free to enjoy, however, participates and spectators are encouraged to bring a pet supply or monetary donation to help support the Humane Society.

 

  1. Drive-in Disguise and Trunk or Treat

What’s Halloween without some trick or treating? Begin your celebrations by dressing up your car fo the Drive in Disguise Parade, starting at 3 pm on October 24th. Drive from 26th St. to the Inlet, where trunk or treating will begin around 3:30 pm on the Boardwalk, south of Caroline Street and North of the Pier.

 

  1. The Great Pumpkin Race

Finish out your weekend with the Great Pumpkin Race, on Sunday, October 25th at 1 pm. This event will be held on the Boardwalk near South Division St., participates will build their own pumpkin race cars and compete in a side-by-side downhill race towards the finish line!
